Noticing lately a topic of interest to me was the viral internet news posting of someone's comments regarding their conclusion that God's Word was contradictory to it's own self. The commenter whom I did not take note but of the fact they did have some form of learning credentials, a doctor or professor.
Their point was quite simple actually. Pointed out was the simple fact from God's Word that, we are told 'not to judge'. This educated person derived and concluded that since our society is built upon courts and laws in effect that those judges in our courts cause us all to be away from complying with God's Word. I agree fully with Matthew 7: 1 Judge not lest ye be judged. HOWEVER In keeping with the Word let's also consider that it is people who is being told not to judge. Vs 2, 3, 4 and 5 expressly chastises people who are donning the Judge's apparel. Comparing their own problems to be much worse than others even labeling them as hypocrites. However one more time let us notice the red ink in my KJV .
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus (the Word made flesh, John 1:14) is saying expressly clear as a bell that people not acknowledging Jesus as Savior is 'already condemned'. To be condemned already is to be already judged. SIN IS ALREADY JUDGED AND CONDEMNED. Two verses away from the arguably most famous verse in the Bible, John 3:16, is the fact of man's lost state without confessing Jesus as Savior. Jesus blood alone washes sinners from eternal damnation in hell to eternal joy unspeakable and full of glory in heaven.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
The motorist arguing with the officer who pulled them over for driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone says, I saw a 55 mph sign earlier,,,,to no avail. Ignorance of the law will not avail any favor here in this lifetime and ignorance of the Word surely will not when the time arrives for us to be in God's presence. Yet more and more we see through mainstream media all sorts people who are attempting to contend even with God Himself.
I believe TRUTH REVEALED AND GOD'S WORD ARE SYNONOMOUS.
Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
It is God's alone responsibility to judge. His judgment is far apart from the appellate pettiness of flesh and blood proceedings which can make a mockery at their very stations in life. God,,, His alone is the judgment of the soul's of men and women. He is the King of King's and Lord of Lord's. No one who has ever breathed will have a fairer court for their deeds on earth than when those deeds of our lives are examined.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Even our hearts intentions.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Jeremiah 10:10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
So onward we go. All types of people with souls headed for one of only two destinations. With or without God. One day at a time onward we go. My prayer is that every soul reading this has a divine encounter within themselves and with God Himself.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
